


Using FrontPage 2003 To Upload
Microsoft FrontPage 2003 gives you control of the tools and technologies you need to create and manage your website as you want. Start working exclusively in a familiar Office interface with no need to program, or take control of your HTML code. You can create pages with a normal WYSIWYG view or write code in HTML view. | 1. | Start up your Microsoft FrontPage software. Click File > New. |

| 2. | Select Blank page to start designing your website. |

| 3. | Design your website. Remember to save all your web pages in the folder My Webs located at: C:\Documents and Settings\*user*\My Documents\My Webs. |

| 4. | When you have finished designing your website, click File > Open Site. Find and select the My Webs folder in your computer. |

| 5. | You will now see a Folder List to the left of your
design window which will show all of the files in your
My Webs folder. |

| 6. | Click File > Publish Site. This will display the Remote Web Site Properties and select the FTP option. Type the publish destination as: ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com.au (replace yourdomain.com with your own domain name). Click OK. |

| 7. | Type your Username in the Name field and your Password in the Password field. |
|

| 8. | FrontPage connects to your server and opens the Publish Web window. Select the files to publish and click Publish. |
